A huge amount of work has been done behind the scenes to make the event as safe and as friendly as possible but we know that with events only just restarting, you may still have questions.

 

We have worked closely with Telford International Centre, the events industry body and the exhibitors to ensure that the latest government guidance is followed from the moment you arrive.

Frequently asked questions

What has been done to make the event safe for me?


So much! You will be able to see much of it, for example we have widened all of the aisles to a minimum of 3 metres and there will be plenty of hand sanitiser stations starting at the entrance to the venue and placed around the halls. Every exhibitor will also have hand santiser available on their stands for your use. The exhibitors will be cleaning the products and swatches regularly and, where possible, literature will be exchanged electronically e.g. brochures and price lists.




Do I need to wear a mask/face covering?


Yes please. We are asking all visitors (and exhibitors) to wear a mask or face covering, unless you are exempt. If you visit the coffee bar or restaurant your mask can be removed once you have sat down.




Do I need to social distance?


Within the venue social distancing rules still apply so please keep at least 2 metres apart and refrain from mixing in groups larger than 6. Our exhibitors have designed their stands to make this easy to do.




Is Track & Trace in operation?


Posters with the QR code will be placed at the entrance to the venue and at key points leading to the halls. If you don't have a smartphone or the app, a paper form will be available.




Can I register on site?


No, please register before travelling to the show here on the website. It's completely FREE and will only take a couple of minutes. Please print your ticket and bring it with you.




What is the event policy regarding meeting and greeting?


We are asking everyone to refrain from shaking hands or, for those of you that are more friendly, hugging! Whilst we know this is a very natural way to greet business colleagues and friends we are sure you will understand why this needs to be skipped for now. We are also asking everyone to exchange data digitally as much as possible. Business cards, brochures and price lists are all examples of this.




Is there a cloakroom?


For this event there will be no cloakroom facilities. Hopefully the weather will be favourable and negate the need for coats and umbrellas! If you're staying over you could ask the hotel if you can leave your items with them.




Will the guidelines change between now and the show?


The honest answer is we don't know, however we are in constant communication with TIC and the events industry body to ensure we will comply with the latest government guidance. If you have registered we will email you a complete set of guidelines before the show.




Do I need to have a negative Covid test before attending?


If you don't already have a regular testing programme in your organisation we are recommending that all exhibitos and vistors obtain a negative Covid test 24 hours before travelling to the venue.




What should I do if I think I have Covid symptoms?


We hope that they are mild and you recover quickly, but please do not come. You should also not attend the site if you have been in contact with a person who has been confirmed to have Covid-19 within the last 7 days. You should not attend the site if you have been contacted by NHS and asked to isolate. You should not attend the site if you have travelled abroad within the last 10 days and should be isolated unless the country visited is included within the air bridge and therefore exempt.
